ان من الشعر لحکمۃ و ان من البیان لسحر
الحمد للہ المنان یہ دیوان جس کی ہر سطرِ مروارِ فصاحت کی سلکِ آبدار۔ جس کا ہر مصرع گلہائے بلاغت کا خوشنما ہار۔ بلکہ ہر لفظ عمدہ، پاکیزہ زیورِ حسن سے آراستہ۔ تحقیقِ صوری و معنوی کا دریا خوبی کے سانچے میں ڈھلا ہوا بحر محبت محبوبِ رب العزت کمال جوش و خروش میں لانے والا جاں نثارانِ سیدِ عالم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کومست و بیخود بنانے والا۔ سبحان اللہ وہ دیوان جس کی نظیر عالم میں مفقود، سراپا محمود مسعود، مسمےٰ باسمِ تاریخی
